Finally gave up on babying myself and waiting for the hip pain to go away. Just can’t wait to rebuild myself. Been doing special warmup exercises for hip arthritis. Today I just felt like dancing. Yep, I did it. Found an exercise vid on YouTube with a bunch of old people like me. I tried their “Night Fever “ and made it through it by modifying the spinning part. Thought I’d try their “Dancing Queen “ vid…nope. No can do. Just couldn’t keep up with them, so I went to my favorite YouTube group…”Live Love Party.” So proud of myself. Danced to “Girl in the Mirror “ and “Closer.” It made me so happy.

Been a week working nights. I really have to concentrate on what day it is. Accidently tried to wake hubby up, because I forgot it's his day off. I find myself reaching for something to eat at night, because it's so slow. Daytime is much more active and alive. Thought I'd get a lot done, but my brain seems to have turned into mush. I think I might need more sleep.
On the bright side, I've got my routine. Up at 5-5:30 am, pack hubby's lunch, eat breakfast, feed and let the chickens out, wake hubby up, make hubby's breakfast, take hubby to work, Fridays get groceries, come back home, prepare vegetables and meat for dinner, clean something, study, cook my lunch and eat, relax a little, cook dinner, go to work, pick hubby up and take him home, go back to work, come home, put away the left-overs, take something out for tomorrow's dinner, and go to bed. Something tells me working the graveyard shift would be easier then a late night shift.

Worked my first "night" shift since the 80's and I actually enjoyed working. I thought I would never enjoy working again with all the drama, scheming, and hostility that has has infiltrated the workplace. I know it was quiet, because only 2 people work the weekends and nights. Too bad during the week the shifts overlap a little. Anyhow, it was Great! The 2 of us got some work done and of course we were able to get a lot off our minds. We even shared some laughs. Neither one of us likes all the drama from the work place gossipers. Now that we got everything off our chests, I'm expecting things to run a lot smoother at night with a positive attitude and more work getting done. I'm expecting problems during the day, so I'll be surprised if there are none. I'm also expecting not to be informed as to what is happening during the day or work related changes, because that is how it has always been for people working at night.
