My health journey is always full circle. Coming back to the tried and true ways of eating healthy. I'm 51 yrs old and soon to be 52:) No meds. yet- just overweight. I'm hoping to lose around 50 lbs. I have done the no sugar no flour diet or (WOE)with success and kept at my goal weight of 120 lbs for a couple of years. Sugar IS truly an addiction-So is emotional eating to avoid the feeling of emptiness. I'm back to square one. For 2 months now I have been avoiding sugar and flour, fast food. I'm on the low carb. kick and eating around 10-20 carbs., 65-70 gm Pro., and high intake of good fats. Just started and I'm taking it one day at a time:)
