Niacin bound chromium
I was reading online that this supplement helps burn fat and retain muscle mass. I was wondering if anyone had an opinion on this and/or if there was a food I could add to my diet that would provide this nutrient? Thanks

Sugar in prepared foods!!
I guess it's all about being mindful of what you put in your mouth! Apple slices and peanut butter for my afternoon snack!

Sugar in prepared foods!!
I recently decided to track the sugar content in what I eat. Alot of mornings I'll eat diet shakes or protein drinks or health bar. I thought staying around 40 grams of sugar would be doable. I'm shocked at the amount of sugar in these! This morning I added dried cranberries to my cereal and ended up with 33 grams of sugar for breakfast!!! My motto is everything in moderation but this was an eye opener for me. What does everyone else think?

Any new exercises out there to try?
Add balance to your workout. Do squats or handweights on a boscu ball. You can also put your feet on it for pushups. It trains more stomach muscles.

Hello
I just joined recently as well. As I approached 50 (then shot right past it last December!) I wanted to focus on overall improvements - healthier eatting - better fitness -- and better mind set! It's always a work in progress!
