Hello everybody!
I have to share the cheese-pie recipe that made me sin today...the simplest and yummiest one can prepare in 10' -no dough!
3 eggs,500gr feta cheese,150ml olive oil,1 cup of flour (even wholewheat), 1 teaspoon baking powder, sesame seeds. Miraculously, you blend all these in a bowl and then pour the mixture in an oiled oven pan, rinse sesame seeds on top (also sunflower seeds, poppy seeds etc if you like) and bake in an already hot oven at 220 degrees for 25-30'.
This weill result to a crispy outside,soft inside light pie, a beauty for any time of the day!

A big warm hug to each and every one out there!
I'll share my latest progress-although I haven't yet referred to the start...anyway!
I'd been on strict keto for 8 months,seeing tremendous progress psychologically. Bodywise, I stayed the same,but my weight is already close to normal so ok. The psychological effects were unexpectedly encouraging. Unfortunately,my scale is broken and I need to find one.
However, I had a carbo outburst lately,and probably gained 3-4 pounds. I would reach for the good old butter and cheese sandwitches I love so much, like every day for 10 days. Having broken my carb barrier, I also indulged to quite a lot of Christmas sweets and completely satisfied those cravings, and I mean I really did, no rstrictions at all.
So, I've observed my physical reactions right from the start; At first, I got an energy kick from the carbs which I didn't have before, almost a "high". However,continuing this "experiment", some nasty effects followed. First of all, my headaches came back. I strangely disrupted my sleep cycle, waking up almost 2 hours later than my keto waking. A small negative psychological effect-which may also be due to me subconsciously cursing my whole loosness. However the parenthesis didn't last long, and it was a total matter of choice-not hunger. This is crucial.
So, having emptied the place from each and every "prohibited" carb, I'm back on conscious eating 2 days now. I've had a mean headache since yesterday which I suspect would end if I ate a sandwitch, but no. I prefer tolerating it in this phase. This is the overall conclusion for my fellow dieters here, that the will power you develop with keto -for me- can't vanish so easily! I love you all!
