Entries not showing up for other users?
I've been entering "new" foods to the database, and I'm careful to always click "Share and Collaborate" to make sure others can use it too. However, my husband, who also uses Fat Secret, cannot find these entries, ever. They just don't show up for him.

I do the whole deal - photos, bar code, etc. I try not to leave anything out.

Why can't he use my submissions?

How to measure bacon calories/macros in a recipe?
Bacon packages all say "2 cooked strips" with a weight for calories. If I use raw bacon in a recipe (such as in meatloaf) where the grease is part of the food, how do I count those strips of bacon?

I buy a non-standard bacon, a locally made brand that is a lot leaner than the usual brands, so the "average" bacon calories concept doesn't quite work for macros and calories. I do have the calories and macros for the brand, but it's for cooked bacon.

Looking for buddies doing Keto or LCHF
We're at about the same place. I've lost 70 pounds so far, 60-something to go, though my being on (high protein) keto is new. My previous diet was high protein/fat, lowish carbs, but not as strict as keto. I hit a plateau with that diet, so I switched to keto and my weight loss is back on track.

Today's update of Android App loses Exercise Diary?
Also, my control center (home page) disappeared, and instead it's pictures of other people's food. I don't want to see other people's food!

Whatever this update was, it needs to be undone.

How Often Do you weigh yourself?
It depends. If I'm on a bit of a plateau, I tend to weigh myself just about every time I go into the bathroom (including stripping naked) because even just a tenth of a pound can make me feel better. When I am doing really well and lost a few pounds in a week, then less often, perhaps once a day (in the morning after the toilet) because I'm feeling less anxious.

For a while while I was figuring out my body's patterns of weight loss so I weighed myself after everything - eat, drink toilet - just out of curiosity for how each affected my weight, and what time of day my daily lowest weight was. To my surprise, it's usually lowest just before dinner!
