I knew I was going to be up in weight but I'm okay as long as it stayed in the 148 range. And I did. So not as much stress eating as I'm finally getting the budget back on track from all the competitive sports costs. Not done yet but I see the light at the end of the tunnel...
This week was more about the ramp up of the practice schedules and overlapping sports seasons for all the kids. It's the end of somethings and the beginning of others over the next couple weeks. And that truly makes it challenging to meal plan. So more junk food, quick & easy not so healthy foods. Husband was also out of town for Navy drill which means it's just me with 4 kids. And I went to a wedding we were invited to but it's his co-worker. So felt like a party crasher & over indulged because I felt out of play and the food was good. I'm walking around the track today at daughter's lax practice.

No weight change. I'll take it. I'm totally stressed about finances and schedules so I'm not sleeping well and grocery budget is strained. It will be better in a couple weeks but for now it's not helping my diet.

Yah! A small loss. After having our anniversary and Easter in the same week, plus no soccer or exercise given the holiday due to my pulled quad muscle I'll take that little win. Now, I just have to get through my son's 13th birthday this week and spring break with all the kids and snacks at home. Think positive thoughts and eat carrot sticks, okay maybe a tiny piece of ice cream cake. But I'm going to walk around the neighborhood everyday this week and I have an arena soccer game on Sunday. Something to look forward to!

So I've had a very stressful week. Worried about finances as we venture into more competitive and more expensive sport teams for our two older children. The costs never end... So that's keeping me up at night. I haven't exercised since I pulled a quad muscle in arena soccer and there isn't any soccer now until after Easter weekend. And being on the PTO is driving me insane... So those are my excuses. I am going to walk around the track today at my daughter's lacrosse practice. I need to remember to take advantage of this practice times to get my own exercise in. Today is a new day!

I totally fell off the wagon but I guess I was so busy I didn't eat as many inappropriate things as I thought. This week was tech week for one of my daughters as she had 5-6 hour rehearsals every night and I volunteered for 3 of those nights-lots of coffee with artificial sweetener and some junk food. I did a 30-hour mini vacation and drove 7 hours each way to visit my former college roommate, go to dinner-Cheesecake Factory (need I say more), attend a lecture together at our old university, and drove 7-hours home the next day. The drive included more coffee & junk food, okay and fruit mostly. And also in between matinee and the evening theater performances I took my little actress to Noodles & Co and Fatburger... I tried to make healthier choices but still not always the best.
