Out and about with friends most of the day. Great food eaten, can’t even take a guess at the calorie count but delicious, and most of it had good nutritional value except the hot out of the oven sour dough bread with sweet cream butter ( 2 big slices). The salad was incredibly good with yellow and red roasted beats, walnuts, craisins and protein greens plus an amazing dressing made with creamed goat cheese. Just one day out of the rest of my life. Resume my normal way of eating tomorrow.

Big migraine discussion here today on FS. Two drugs approved in 2023 for migraines.
Sumatriptan which is a migraine rescue medication given by auto injections , just under the skin (SQ) and works in about 15 minutes.
Zaregepant is a nasal spray, it also works in about 15 minutes.
A friend has severe migraines and had just stopped seeing her doctor about them because she felt nothing would help. I finally convinced her to see a new neurologist and these are the meds he gave her. They both worked. She prefers the nasal spray, not because it works better, but because it isn’t a shot she has to give herself. It has been a game changer. I know there is yet another new medication that is taken on a regular basis for prevention. I know very little about it yet but might be worth asking your doc about.

This is a really good article out of Duke University, department of evolutionary anthropology. It is about human beings and how and why we burn calories and use energy. SPOILER ALERT— the harder we exercise, the more efficient our bodies become at that task and the few calories we burn.
