Medium walk, thirty minute hard row. Day #70. Had a fairly dramatic NSV this morning when I grabbed a much loved older bra and it did not fit at all. I had already purged that drawer before, so this is a new one. Muscle up, blob down, feeling pretty strong. Blob is trending down overall and that’s what we want. More muscle mass while I can still grow it. Slept through the middle of the night rocket launch because sometimes sleep is more important. Hoping my friends went outside and took pics for me. Sky was perfect.

Photos pulled up some sweet memories for me this morning. One year ago, I had just gotten Lili, Summer wasn’t even a notion, and the two giant puppies were dragging me out of the darkness of sorrow destroying my house in ways I couldn’t even fathom at the time. They would leap up onto my bed and Chance would grab each of the pillows and throw them around the room while Lili attacked. Good times. He’s calmed down some, Lili is going to be a terror forever. She’s just so sweet, it’s okay. Just don’t make the mistake of ever spraying water at her when she’s being naughty. It puts her into turbo mode.

And the best laid plans… Mom just showed up to walk Summer, so errands postponed for now. Will get in a row early instead, I guess.

This morning is one of those mornings where the smart scale saves my brain from flipping out at the number on the scale. Long walk last night, ten minute row #69, because the house just was not cooling down for some reason and I was just pooped after the walk anyways, probably a little dehydrated looking back. Getting really close to 90 days, so I’m going to have to figure out what to do once I get there. I will keep rowing because it feels good. Back feels better, legs are strong, overall markers are great. I need to find an old pic of my legs in the pool and do a comparison.

Dinner was chickpea rotini with pesto and smoked salmon. 🍣 Absolutely delicious but full of sodium. Needed capers, but didn’t have any. Burp. I still have to finish the package of salmon in a day or so. I will try and press through. Actually, smoked salmon with eggs sounds pretty good. I usually forget by the time I get around to it though.

Blob down, muscle up, holding some water. It’ll be fine. I was swinging some heavy stuff around the other day in the yard, I am stronger.
