So this week I am doing no scale until Friday. I am hoping to be at 230 or lower but a loss is a loss, right? This will hopefully be my last week in a cast so I can at least start walking and getting ready to run next week. Monday we go to the doctor. A few more days of weigh training and sitting cardio. I am really hoping that I can get back to running and more intense home workouts. Also keep fingers crossed for a job offer soon, so I can afford a gym membership in time for the cold PA winter.

Wooo! hat a workout today! I found some great strength and cardio workouts on tumblr that I can do in my cast. I am shaking right now because it was hard and then another 1 LB down!!!! I am hoping to be under 200 for thanksgiving but if not then then by Christmas! Taking on a family meal at grandma's tomorrow but I am going to protein up in the morning, do this killer workout and make good choices!

Only 2.2 pounds away from the first 10lb loss. The first 10lbs are usually a challenge for me but even in my walking cast I am working and succeeding. Little changes are making a big difference. I have had one drink in the past 3 weeks and plan to keep continuing abstaining from alcohol until Thanksgiving whether I am able to run the race or not. I research menus before I go to restaurants and I always make sure I have leftovers. I am giving up condiment laden fast food option in exchange for healthier on the go meals. I still have indulgences such as candy and french fries but I plan and keep it small. MY next big thing to over come is family events. We have a family picnic on Saturday at my Grandma's. I need to plan and work on self-control and I am using the motivator that afterwards we are going shopping to get me some interview clothes/adult work wardrobe. Hopefully I get a job in the next few weeks. Fingers crossed for full time or at least good paying part time.
