HIGH FAT DIETS SHOULD BE BANNED, AS WELL AS SUGAR AND OVEREATING OF STARCH.

Kathy - The diet should be banned for normal regular dieters - no matter how much they weigh. If someone has a condition - they will not be on this site looking for help - they would already be in a hospital getting the specific treatments and being monitored. DUH! DUH!!!
And I've yet to see or hear from any medical professional on this site - but i suspect they might remain anonymous - for they could be held responsible for doling out medical advice on some random website. Maybe they might ask you to come into their clinic for a real up close and personal evaluation before they start preaching bacon and butter! DUH???????? Who are you people who continue to not get it?
Why do you believe you or anyone has the right to ban ANY diet?? Who is to decide what is a 'high' fat diet or what is too much sugar or who is overeating starch. Most medical professional probably have better things to do than deal with this carp. Different people do well on different program. I do believe some programs are very extreme. I also believe that science is extremely slow to validate research. People also have a tendency to jump on quick fix progam and have unhealthy relationships with food. There seems to be a large group of people here on high protein or LCHF diets. They don't do well for me I think banning programs is extreme. Many people had improvements in cholesterol and other health markers even with the programs. Fat loss and health are what we are looking for - right???

Welcome to the world of trolls - people with limited knowledge but lots of opinions! This is a calorie and fitness tracking application. Everyone should be using the advise of a medical professional. Some conditions, like seizure disorders, are improved by a ketogenic diet. So not sure the point of 'banning' a diet that can be beneficial to some. There are actually medical professionals on this site but hopefully most of us are adults with common sense.
