Ok. I'm trying again. I'm getting married in September and want to look good in my wedding dress. I logged back on to Fat Secret after 2 years and realized that I've gained almost 20 pounds in 2 years. And I thought I was too big back then! Now look at me. I'm really quite disgusted with myself.
I do have to give myself some benefit of the doubt though, the last couple of years have been trying on me and stressful. Eating is how I make myself feel better. And it definitely doesn't help that I am CONSTANTLY hungry! I am trying to teach myself that I don't need to eat at the slightest feeling of hunger, I can let it go for a while and see if it passes. I've been doing pretty good with that since I started changing my eating habits at the beginning of the new year. Another habit that I need to desperately change is my sugar intake. I am a sugar fiend. I can't help myself! I just love it so very much. But it's bad for me and I know that and I really need to control myself. I actually did good the other day when I came into work and there were three boxes of delicious looking doughnuts in the lunch room. I passed them and grabbed my Slim-Fast :) Yay me!
I started the Slim-Fast plan again. It just seems to work for me so I'm gonna stick to it. I've been having a piece of fruit, usually a banana, in the morning on my way to work with my cup of coffee. Around 9ish I'll drink my first Slim-Fast (actually drinking it right now). I run errands on my usual 11 o'clock lunch hour and when I come back I have a handful of nuts. Around 1 I will drink my other Slim-Fast. On my way home I have another piece of fruit and then I eat a normal diner with my family. And of course our dinner is healthfully planned. So, so far so good! I have actually lost a pound! I started at 160 and am at 159 as of today.

Since I've begun working out I've noticed that my tummy fat is actually squishier. I asked my boss about it (she works out a lot) and she said that she thinks that when your fat starts to get swuishier that the fat cells are starting to break down. That sounds right to me when I think about it... does anyone have any comments?

This not losing any weight is really starting to get annoying. I don't understand how I can be eating roughly 1200 calories a day and working out 3 days a week and not lose any weight?!
