My name is Julie, I am 43 with 4 kids and an amazing husband! I don't have much weight to lose, but I enjoy eating healthy and trying to stay in shape! I was always a very skinny child and skinny teenager. I started putting on weight when I had my first daughter at age 20, and it slowly kept climbing up there until I hit 200 pounds. I had my last child at age 32. After he was born I decided to do something about my weight, I was never comfortable in my own skin being that heavy. So I went to my Dr. and he did give me a prescription for Xenical (which is now sold over the counter as Alli). Which I still use (when I am eating a fattening meal). Between going to my Dr. monthly for weigh in's and working out in the gym, I began my weight loss journey. I lost 50 pounds and have kept it off since then...Until about a year or so ago when I started noticing my pants were getting tighter! I was afraid to get on the scale, but ended up joining Weight Watchers (with my sister who needs it). When I got on their scale my weight was at 163, shocked that I had gained 13 pounds! I lost 7 pounds with them and then stopped going. I am still at 156 and would like to get back down to 150 where I looked and felt great! I have been walking with a pedometer on everyday for the past 11 weeks, walking a minimum of 10,000 steps. The scale is not going down anymore and I'm not sure why! Although I do look (according to my husband) more toned! So that's my story!!!
