I changed my super filling breakfast bar recipe again. I added textured vegetable protein and sunflower seeds. These bars are not pretty looking but they really help me make it through the morning. Plus eating flax meal on a daily basis is supposed to give me a lot of benefits. Plus the raw cacao gives me antioxidants. I really love these bars.

What an awful day. And whenever I have awful days I want to eat the awfulness away with any carb I can find. Did I today, NOPE. I sure didn't. I'm proud that I didn't. I think I would like to wrap up in a blanket and hide from the world now.

I am won over by my homemade protein bars. They hold my hunger for about 5 hours or so. I like that it helps increase my total fiber intake too. So, my tummy feels much better. :)
