Adding low GI to Atkins. I think it would be a good combination. Tired of depending on sucralose to fix my sweet cravings and would rather eat fruit. Low GI snacks is what I need. After reading the GI book, it was basically what I was doing before I started Atkins. So combining the two may be beneficial for me. I added carbs already and I'm not nearly fainting when I stand up. My body needs more fiber too. We will see. So far so good. I added more carbs and immediately I had more energy and stopped nearly fainting when I stood up. I think I stayed at 20 carbs for way too long and it affected my body pretty bad. Today is a wash. Starting tomorrow.

I have a sweet tooth. I'm excited that I found http://www.healthyindulgences.net This is a blog from a woman that creates sweet & yummy recipes that are sugar free and sometimes gluten free. A weekly indulgence is how I reward myself. I would rather indulge sugar free and homemade. Looks like I'm going to netrition.com and buying some new items for my pantry. First recipe....homemade sugar-free marshmallows!

I'm so excited. I'm going to start cycling again. It has been a long time. Getting a new bike to ride for distance and get some me time in the process. I can't wait.

I refuse to record anything other than weight loss. Seeing ups and downs on my weight history would bug me and make me mad at myself. I do weigh myself, but I only record weight loss. Fat Secret tells me when I need to weigh myself. The longer the period, the more I realize I haven't seen a weight loss and so I evaluate my eating record. Once I have a lost weight, it's recorded. That way, I'm always proud of what I have accomplished and always see a downward slope.
