I am finally back to the weight I logged on Fatsecret a while back. Took me about 5 days, of which 3 of them were gastro 🤷🏼♀️😵🙈 But it has shrunk my stomach quite a bit to where a 300 calorie, 27g protein lunch is too much. I feel like my stomach could explode any minute! Suppose this is why I should be limiting my food portions. I'm just scared my stomach stretches again and I binge until I get sick. But I've got a short-term goal I want to reach. Once I reach 120kg, I can buy myself the walking pad that I've been eyeing! 7.8kg to go! Let's get it! 🙏💪

I weighed myself on Monday - I was 132kg. Today, I'm 127.9kg. Weight fluctuations kill my spirit on most days and then I have one good day where I scratch my head trying to understand the weight drop! But deep down I know why - (1) I had my period and I always gain 3kg of water weight. (2) I also ate some sodium-heavy foods, which can result in high water weight. One good thing is, I usually weigh heavier after office days, but it was quite a lovely surprise today! 7.9kg to go until I can get a walking pad!

I finally got my period!! My crazy cravings are over! Unfortunately a colleague brought a tart-thingy to work today and it was DISGUSTINGLY sweet. I could not refuse it. And I was stressed and craved savory foods - like the avo & toast I packed for breakfast. Unfortunately I tried to make her feel comfortable at my cost and I feel SO sad about it. I didn't want the thing, it tasted so sweet and revolting. I don't have a sweet-tooth. I will never do that to myself again. I feel so disappointed in myself. I feel dirty.

There's one individual on my social media page, sharing dishes that contain soooo much cheese and saturated fat, and the immediate next post the person shares is a weight loss post. Wtf. This is why food is the hardest drug to overcome because it's absolutely fine to post addictive food promoting unhealthy lifestyle and the next post sharing how much weight you've lost, only to gain it again. Did I mention this individual is a health coach???
