Got stuck at 182.5. With current schedule at work, remaining PT appointments and my now weekly migraines there is not much I can do in terms of implementing changes. I dropped my daily workout intensity because of PT sessions. I get rather tired after them so I am afraid of pushing myself too much on days off as it might cause another migraine or flare. Same about food, I have to cut snacking at work, but start getting headaches and cannot think clearly when hungry. Will try to reduce carbs and calories slightly in 4 days cycle with 4th day as cheat. Will see if it helps. I need to move into 17*s even if it is more for motivation than for practical purposes.

Tested a new electric mandolin/grater. What a piece of s-t. I am seriously thinking of sending it back. I had a good workout trying to assemble it though. Even DH was unable to make it work with the blade that is supposed to cut veggies into cubes. And that speaks for itself as he usually can make anything work. The shredded carrots made into my lunch salad for one. It was good, and now that I logged it and saw how few calories it had, I miss my old deceased electric grater even more. So the search for perfect electric grater continues. I seldom use any cooking appliances to help with prep but there is no way I am going to grate carrots or daikon manually. And I love both. As for migraine, I am much better but it is still lurking somewhere around, so I might get it again. It is raining today which is very unusual for this time of the year. I cannot go out and have nothing to do but to hang around the house and relax. Might actually help.
Made another attempt after lunch and made it work. Still mixed results. Thin is too thin, thick is too thick, with cubes onions get squashed and half potato goes to waste. Liked the wavy fries cut but as I don't eat French fries it is of little use to me. May be I will try sweet potato French fries in the air-fryer. Endless opportunities to justify wasted $50. Sending it back means paying for the shipping. Oh well. You would think I have learned my lesson by now, but no, I had to try it.

Another bad day. Migraine yesterday and today so no exercise. This is not a cry for support and pity, just a note for myself to explain why I am skipping exercise again.

I am back. This was a weird week, and I am waiting till Sunday to weight in. My ankles are too swollen now and I don't want to record that much extra water. That might be discouraging even though I know the reason. I cannot say I ate too much but some of the food would not be my first choice under different circumstances. I also was on my feet much more than on a normal day in the office, so that should offset some of the calories. On the other hand I skipped my daily cycling as I was too tired. I definitely gained some weight, so now my goal is to lose it and finally get into 17*s. I think it would be reasonable to do it by June.
