Its been awhile since I checked in but I'm very happy with my progress. Have been making my bi-weekly one-and-a-half to two-hour visits to the gym and sticking to my vegetarian diet. Havent had a scrap of animal flesh since March of last year. I'm five pounds away from my goal and I feel awesome!! I actually have energy in the morning (It doesnt take a pot of coffee to wake me up anymore) I have energy to play with my kids. I actually RUN up stairs every time I see them. Im doing the Warrior Dash with a friend in May. I would have never agreed to something like that at 240 lbs. Im going to change my goal weight to 150 so that once I get there, I will have a little leeway if I do gain a few pounds it wont be the end of the world. There are a few places i would like to tone up too. It has definitely been a complete LIFESTYLE change and I'm so glad I did it!!

Weighed myself this morning before breakfast and I was at 188, after clothes, shoes and breakfast (which included some salty olives) I was at 190. Go figure. I should probably stop with the relentless scale-watching, but I am making progress and holding myself accountable for my choices. Want to be at 180 for Halloween. Will amp up my workouts which have dropped off considerably in the past 2 weeks. Yay 100s!!

Amped up the workouts but havent seen a drop in the weight dept. Can possibly attribute that to added muscle mass, but I'm not sure. I know there are many factors as to why people gain weight or stay the same even if they are doing the right things and there is no one way for everyone. I'm just going to keep at it and hope for the best!! I know I look better in my clothes and Ive got that antsy feeling like I need to be moving all the time which is a good thing... means my workouts are giving me extra energy. The only problem I'm having right now is wanting to eat when I get home from work (11pm), and staying up too late after. Will work on that :)

Im almost under the 200 mark and very excited about that!! Will continue to progress with the weight loss and keep up the exercise!!
