I'm on my way into the danger zone....the weekend. But, I have a great week under my belt and I am feeling the groove...this could be it...the weekend that skinny me triumphs over the evil Dr. Temptation!!

Last night I decided that I need to set some non-scale related goals to my journey. I think one goal at a time is the way to go, so my first goal is to
be able to wear my wedding ring again
. I challenge anyone reading this to set one non- scale related goal for themselves, be it minor or great. I would say good luck, but after this past week I realize luck has absolutely nothing to do with it!

Had another little victory yesterday, stayed on plan and worked out twice. If every day could be as easy as yesterday then I will be shaking my bum to salsa music in spike heels and a miniskirt in no time… unfortunately, I am all too aware that days like that don’t come around as often as they should. But, here’s to hoping, and here’s to all of my friends and family on this journey to health with me and may more of our days be filled with those little victories and successes!

Yesterday went well (even for a Monday) and I stayed on plan…even got in 30 minutes of exercise. But as the evening rolled around I could feel myself getting tired. I felt my resolve start to slip through my fingers as I mentally went through what was in the fridge. This time, I wouldn’t let sleep take success away from me and I took one baby step… I sent myself to bed :-)
