Ride a bicycle most every day 25 to 30 miles occasionally longer. I am a former adult athlete that slipped a disc and promptly gained a lot fo weight. After Doctor called me with results of a physical...pre-diabetics, pre hyper tension and seriously overweight I took my Covid19 money and invested in my first bicycle in 40 some years. No longer pre-diabetic nor hypertension and weight is down 50+ but working on getting down lower. My new sport, cycling is not for racing but for solid rides of 15 - 20 mph over distances. Just finished RAGBRAI, wife as my support driver and next up is Ride the River a metric century involving ferries, river, and miles. After that is riding the Danube Cycling path in Europe.
