Here we go again. Giving my self 2 years to reach goal weight......wow just read through my diary from 4 years ago.... Long story short I must pay better attention to me. Totally consumed by life and just ignored me!!! So sad...now I have an even bigger mountain to climb... OK enough of that potty party - right - doing this one step at a time.

Thank God for new beginnings. With every new day I know I also have a chance to begin again.
Last week was my 1st week on the Atkins plan. No I didn't do things perfect but you have to start some where. I learned from last week that every thing comes down to a choice. I had my day were I put it all to the side and ate what I wanted. I could have chose to pull the bread off the burger from Wendys as one poster commented but didn't I could have chose to drink a diet drink but I didn't and I could have chose not to order fries and substitute that side for something else.
Before I started this thing (again) I read through the Atkins site and knew what was required of me and have the food log of things to eat.
So today I start my second week and my goal is to, not make better choices, but chose to make the right choice every time I eat.
I'm also going to start moving this week. And expect to really start seeing changes in my total make up.
I'm not upset with myself over last week, maybe some think I should be. The positive side of things that I see from last week is that my overall calorie intake is down, if nothing else that's GOOD to me!!!
