My vote is your scale is a little faulty because I have a Weight Watchers scale and got so excited when it told me I had magically lost five pounds. Totally a fluke still the weight I really don't want to be! My scale is the one that you personalize and it reads your bone density, bmi, and water percentage.

looking for advice
My mom is very successful at maintaining her weight and I noticed she weighs herself every day. I told her I felt that was extreme but she gauges how to eat that day based on her weight. She also knows immediately of any gains or losses. She logs all her food and buys a lot of 100 calorie snacks. She also plans her meals in advance. I think once you do this you start to get an understanding of what you can eat to maintain your desired weight.

update on weight loss
Take victory in small things such as squats in front of the TV or a 20 minute walk. Put positive images of yourself up so you are surrounded with them. Our society really focuses on the negative so try pointing out what you like about yourself when you look in the mirror. Maybe try a natural antidepressant like St Johns Wort? That has worked wonders for a family member of mine. Also treat yourself once a week or you will feel too deprived whether that's a glass of wine or a small piece of chocolate cake. I'm rooting for you. Hugs.
