you lose weight when you drink because alcohol dehydrates your body all night, you piss out all the water in your system, and the follow morning you are thirsty and low in body water content...thus you rehyrate.

Caloric Percentages
whey protein is a great source and easy way to increase your protein intake for the day. Also, make sure you are working out. If will give more calories you can eat each day an still lose weight. Plus working out just makes you feel better, gives you energy, and boost your confidence

good luck and remember weight loss is a long term commitment, not a few month adventure. SO if you have a bad day eating, or bad days.... big deal, pick up where you left off and forget about it.

Abs Diet on the road? HELP!
Pack apples, Clif protein bars, and almonds. If you are driving, i would pack some cheese sticks and hard boiled eggs.

Caloric Percentages
I have heard 33% for fat, 33% for protein, and 33% for carbs, but and this is the key, good carbs, good fats and lean protein, not porterhouse steak, butter, and white bread bagels.
