Followed the meal plan M-F, followed by my big fat Greek free day Saturday, among other off-plan items. Losing a bit faster than I would like, but it could just be noise after a hold-steady last week. Plan to track my weight daily the next 2 weeks, keeping an eye on it, and adjust my meal plan accordingly.

gaining 3.4 lb a week

Anyone ever heard of the four-burner theory? https://jamesclear.com/four-burners-theory
For me, health is burner 1 and career is burner 2.
My weight was even lower last night before dinner. Too fast for my taste: my goal is over 1 pound but less than 2 per week, with 1.5 being okay but 1.25 more my ideal. Traveling for work during the week I did not do a daily weigh-in.
I did not exercise last week with getting acclimated to the new job with long hours there. My nutrition was 100%, thanks to meal prep and bringing it with me. That also saved time.
I'll need to exercise first thing in the morning, and I need at least 8 hours of sleep. I will make that a priority. So the plan is in bed by 8:30, asleep by 9, then sleep 8 hours and up at 5, exercise for approx. 1 hour to 90 minutes, then off to work before 8.
One solution is there is a gym close by the office, within walking distance. Also, it opens at 5:30 a.m. I'm going to go inquire Monday morning.
Goal for next week: No excuses, but practice self care and keep it sustainable long term.
Value: My physical health and emotional well-being over job performance even, which runs a close second.
