Woke up at 4:30 yesterday morning starving (first day post HCG) therefore I probably went a little heavy on the calories and now it shows on the scale, but I kept my GL below 50 (it was pretty easy). I'm going to be more mindful of the calories today and also get some exercise.

I bought jeans in one size smaller yesterday which is always a bonus. I'm taking part in the HCG protocol mainly for my thyroid and hormones, but loosing weight and going down sizes makes me that much more motivated. I started researching glycemic index and glycemic loads yesterday also. Combining the glycemic principals and old fashion calorie counting will be my best maintenance approach.

Looks like I'm over the stall out hump for now, yeaaaa. There must of been a lot of toxins and hormones being stored in my fat cells because my doctor said I've become estrogen dominant and my thyroid levels are off, so she is adjusting my meds. Apparently this happens when a person has so many imbalances as I do. Going forward though, I'm going to make the move to all orangic, because I want to stay away from any further intake of hormones or toxins, which were the start of all my problems in the beginning.

Still fighting water rentention. I hate it because it plays mind games with me everytime I step on the scale. I have been working so hard at eating correctly & following protocol but the scale goes up instead of down. It makes me want to throw in the towel and say its no use, even though I truely know what is the cause. There is nothing like the rush I get when I step on the scale and see a loss in weight. It gives me confindience that I can succeed in life even when my business is in a downward spin (econmony is slowing suffocating it!)
