Had a pretty stressful day at work yesterday with a key person from our organization leaving unexpectedly. This has led to an overall morale drop (worse than it was before) and total lack of motivation for me. Aqua zumba is tonight and I was using the fact that I 'couldn't' find someone to watch her as an excuse not to go. Well, I decided to suck it up, ask a friend to watch her for a few hours and go work out. I know I will feel better, hopefully it will also help melt away some of the stress! It is probably good that the weekend is here so that we (coworkers) can get out of the funk yesterday put us in.
I am proud of myself in that I have not turned to junk with this added stress but am eating health and within my caloric intake.

Fell off the wagon a bit yesterday. I would have been okay but the lettuce I had at home and planned to use for my salad last night had gone bad. Had to do a quick, on my feet thinking of a new dinner option that would be ready in about 15 minutes as it was getting to be late. So the option that I found was some fig & Gorgonzola ravioli that is made locally. So we had that for dinner & I will finish the leftover for lunch today. By themselves, they aren't terrible but combined with my lunch for yesterday it was not good. Tonight I think I may do one of the low-carb pizza options I have seen posted on here the last few days.
I am gearing up for another busy weekend. Aqua Zumba tomorrow night, rowing on the lake Saturday afternoon as well as meal prep for about 12 different meals options that will serve 4-6 people (that means 2-3 meals for my daughter and I each!). If I can get everything done on Saturday that I need to then I can rest on Sunday and just do some laundry. Weigh in on Monday morning and with my activities for the weekend I am hoping for some more positive results.

Had a great weekend. Saturday I went peach picking with a friend and my daughter. Then my friend and I spent the day shopping - spending her money (not mine!) which makes it more fun.
Sunday I spent the day training my dog for a water trial next month. I am a bit sunburned from being on the water all day but I thoroughly enjoyed the day with great friends. I did lots of exercise including boat rowing & swimming!
On to the week. I had a bump in the road last week but am back on track. I think I am heading into the portion of my journey where the weight doesn't come off as easily or quickly which is where I struggle. I am committed to continuing but know it will be hard when I don't see the results as quickly. Maybe I should start measuring myself as I know I will loose inches (just not pounds) as quickly. What are the measurement points for women?
I am searching for quick easy meals that I can prepare in 30 minutes or less or even over the weekend and freeze! I have found a few good sites but they aren't necessarily diet friendly meals. Anyone have favorite meals or sites that help with meal planning? I enjoy my weeks more when I can plan out my meals over the weekend or early in the week.
