I think this is the first time ever I've been the same weight for 2 days in a row! I think that's progress.

I didn't weigh in today. Why? Because I know it will be high, and I also know it's OK and it doesn't really count. I have now seen how my body fluctuates about 5 lbs between Monday and Thursday, so I know the ugly Monday weight is only temporary. And, I've finally been at the same weight all the way through a weekend AND it's my lowest weight yet, so I know I'm OK. Besides, who am I to argue with the scale? :)
154, Baby!

OK, I fell off the wagon. Not with food, I'm still doing OK with food, it's just everything else. I drank 6 wine coolers Sunday alone, and I don't even remember the last time I worked out. Sometime last week. I've been getting exercise workig in the yard, but not enough. I've been feeling really tired and run down and haven't gotten my workouts in. But it's nothing I can't fix, and it's still better than a weekend full of evil chocolatey yumminess, lol. I've gone too far to stop now!

Wow, today is the first Monday in ages that I haven't shown a considerable weight increase from the weekend. And that's a shock, because I had a very bad weekend....no exercise, and I had pizza, full-fat ice cream, and lots of booze. But damn what a fun ride it was! And I was styling with my shirt tucked in to my cowgirl jeans, too! Lol, now to flush out my system and get back on track.
The pants I have on today are so loose I could nearly walk out of them, but I wore them just the same because it feels sooooo good to have something loose for a change. Happy Monday, everybody!

I have a new strategy for snacking that I'll call the "How Bad Do You Want It?" strategy. I know that those Skinny Cow Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream sandwiches in the freezer are 140 calories, so if I think I can't live without one then I have to "buy" the calories, meaning I have to walk on the treadmill until I've burned enough calories to "buy" the snack IN ADVANCE. No credit here, cash & carry only. Last night I was on the treadmill shouting to my husband, "I'm almost to a fudgesicle.....fudgesicle passed, coming up on the ice cream sandwich...." It makes for an entertaining way to pass time, if nothing else!
And the thing is, by the time I had walked enough to earn the ice cream sandwich, I changed my mind. I wasn't going to let all that hard work go to waste....or more accurately, go to waist.
