Just started counting calories on Monday, but I think Thursdays will be my weigh-in date. No loss yet. Aiming for 1-2lbs a month right now. I don't have the mental energy to do anything more just yet. Overcoming food addiction is not a matter of will, but of mindfulness, accountability, and support.

I will upload pictures later. For now, I am just starting. No diet.
But my Word of the Year is Nourish. It is time I live up to it. My goal is to stop binge eating, emotional eating, and hiding it from my loved ones. To make the best choices surrounding food I can within whatever circumstances I am in. To focus on allowing my food to be real nourishment, not only for my body, but for my mind and my spirit by striving to break bread with others whenever possible. When it is not possible, to make nourishing choices at a table, preferably with food that requires utensils.
That's all I've got for now.
