Glad to be seeing my therapist again tomorrow. Need to vent some of the anxiety that's building in my head. As of last night, probably from severe lack of sleep, I'm now feeling completely off balance. I need to find a way to get my schedule prioritized.

I was going to workout today but I got 3 hrs & 13 mins of sleep according to my BMF. I feel like I didn't get any. The most at any one time was 57 mins. The night before I got 4 hrs & 36 mins. Today is caffeine day. I had my usual 16oz brew coffee from home, then at the beginning of this first break I went to Starbucks & got a 6 shot grande soy mocha (boy that was rough & took more than an hour to drink). During my next break @ 315 I'll be having a regular size Red Bull so that I can hopefully keep my eyes open in abnormal psych (my teacher is so VERY boring).

Anyway, I'm reading journals but not commenting as much over the past few days. When my mind is clouded the one thing I don't want to do is give advise or my opinion b/c it may be affected greatly by my current state of mind. So that being said, I am keeping up w/ all of you.

Alright, that's about as much as I've got right now. I just completely went blank. Hopefully that doesn't happen during class (which is in 30 mins).

Experimental recipe off the fly turned out to be a complete SUCCESS!!



A spicy Thai inspired dish made w/ rice noodles, eggplant, tofu, mango, chopped onion, garlic, hot chili oil, sesame oil, mildly spicy Thai peanut sauce, & soy sauce. Nice & spicy w/ a subtle hint of sweet from the mango . . . PERFECT!! I'm so proud of myself & glad it came out so dang good. I know MANY people who would truly appreciate this dish = D

(PS - Have to give a big thanks to k8yk for posting in one of her journals how she prepares her tofu, used the baking method then threw it in w/ everything when it was time to saute!)

OK, I need to get some stuff done right quick & then get to bed. I don't think I'll be making it to the gym as early as I had hoped. Think I'll utilize my sister & get a ride to campus. Have far too much to do & need all the sleep I can get at this point.

So I'm really loving my laptop even though it's going to take some getting used to riding across town w/ the huge thing in my back pack. I will say that if someone hits me while carrying this thing, I'll be suing for every penny = p

So even though I didn't get to workout yesterday & I ate over 200 cals above my daily goal of 1700 (again), I still managed to have a nearly 1500 cal deficiet according to my BMF. I really am loving this thing SO much!! I just ordered 2 new armbands b/c the 2 I originally ordered I got in medium b/c they don't give you any measurements. Now the medium does work just fine, the roll it creates in my arm really is annoying & I constantly keep readjusting it b/c it'll seem too loose & then too tight. At night & in the morning my arm gets pretty tender & sore b/c I think I wear it too tight & my arm has been semi-bruised from it (no bueno, I know). So new armbands will be coming soon & that problem should be fixed soon. And when my arm gets smaller, I won't have to worry about buying medium armbands b/c I'll already have them = D

Looking forward to tomorrow as my "Spike" day. 3000 calories. Last Sun was a challenge but I'm far more prepared for tomorrow. I'm going to make a thai inspired noodle, tofu & eggplant dish w/ peanut & sesame oils (chili oil as well if I can find some when I go to the store). Also have some blue cheese pepper sourdough bread that needs to be finished, so I'll put that to good use making a pesto & advocado sandwich I think. B/c I don't want to get sick off of volume, which I was careful not to do last Sun but just hit the edge of that, just going to use more carbs & good fats to get in the calories & I think I'll be just fine.

Ok. I've BSed for the last nearly 2 hours rather than getting on my homework I really need to do. Adios amigos! = )

So today has been better than yesterday. Yesterday wasn't actually a bad day until I was around my mom (she has a way of doing that.)

Got my laptop this morning!! So happy about that. Went out & got my printer & router as well. Router, not doing back flips over as Costco doesn't sell them so I had to go to the EVIL Best Buy & spent far more than I had intended. After this entry, I'm going to be setting it up. Also got a pair of slippers!! I haven't had slippers since the fire. So if I see my mom touch those, I'm smack the back of her hand w/ a ruler!! (Ok, just had to vent that so I don't have to go down the road I didn't go down yesterday regarding my mom).

I didn't get a chance to go to the gym. I've got my nephews so I now & no opportunity to get there before 12am. But I do intend to go first thing in the morning. Tomorrow, Sun & Monday I fully intend to be spending as much time as possible in the library doing hw/reading. And since the gym opens 3 hrs before the library on Sat & Sun, I'll have 3 hrs to workout if I want = p Actually Sun is my non-workout day but we'll see what happens. Life's not set in stone.

Ok, must get on this router setup so that when I go to stay next door at my sister's I'll finally have access to the outside world!! = p

Oh, one more thing. Saw Resident Evil: Afterlife w/ my nephew Alex today. That kid has been patiently waiting for the last 3 yrs for this day & I'm so glad to say he was NOT disappointed!! Neither was I! I love the RE movies & this one was just as awesome! If you plan to see it, make sure you stay in your seat during the credits so you don't miss out on what is leading to the next one = D
