Day 5 and this pain is still here. It's not as bad as it was and it's manageable with a lot of ibuprofen and rest. This unfortunately means exercise has been little to none but to balance things out I have also had very little appetite. I can only wonder what this is doing to my blood sugar though. Typically I have meals somewhat close together with snacks in between but since I have been feeling sick or stuffed eating only a little bit I go for long stretches without eating. If this isn't making progress by tonight I'm going to my doctor to see if he has any suggestions. I'm not even sure whether or not the stone has passed I just know I hurt and feel awful

WELL my day spiralled out of control very fast. All I have ingested today is water, pills and a buttered bun I didn't want. I'm still not hungry at all, still nauseated and very sore and uncomfy. There's no way I'm meeting my calories today

Good morning buddies!
Well I had planned to go to the barn today since it was supposed to be cool and not too humid (I am /not/ used to the extra high heat and crazy humidity of SoMo yet) BUT I woke up with another kidney stone! This is the third one this year and it hurts like hell and shot my plans for exercise since I had to take Vicodin to get any relief at all. It still feels like I have a Charlie horse in the lower right side of my back but I can breathe properly again so that's a start. The down side is I get sleepy and slow to react with this medicine, not exactly compatible with being around big animals when a storm might roll through
Anyway there is a point to all this rambling. I already knew type 2 diabetics are more prone to kidney stones and I've already taken the steps of more water, less sugar, less alcohol (I've had a single sip in the last seven months). My blood sugar has been very well in control as well. What I didn't know is that weight loss causes reactions in your body that can release acids, causing your uric acidity to go up. It makes me glad to know that that could very well be why I have have three stones this year instead of my usual one stone.
You know what they say. No pain no gain.

Well I'm finally noticing some weight loss in my tummy (so far it's been focused around my neck, face, arms etc) and wow is that not a flattering look 😂
Before my belly was at least even and smooth looking despite being too big. Now where I am losing weight it's two perfectly hand sized spots on either side, which is great, but still yikes
But it's all for the sake of progress and I have lost 69lbs at this point so yeehaw
