losing 4.2 lb a week

Typical fluctuations. I actually weighed in at 120.6 yesterday. It looks like we are officially back in my 119-121 lb. weight range. This is the sweet spot I was hanging out at when took on full time care-taking duties for my mom less than 2 years ago.
I'm definitely doing more part-time duties as she continues to heal and gain her stamina so I 'think' the 118 range has passed, which is okay with me.
I really like the 119-121 lb. weight range. I like the way my physique looks and the muscle coming through in both upper and lower body is really looking nice.
I have to chuckle a little at the comment that was made a few posts about the before and after pics of my weight loss journey with regards to looking too thin.
It's appropriate to confess here that the "after" pic was actually taken a year ago post 70.3 so of course I looked very lean. I was just too lazy to grab a recent photo.
I'm actually leaner now in this pic than in that "after" pic and I weigh 3 lb's less in this pic. I've even lost 1/2 an inch in the waist and a whole inch in the hips. But, I look thicker and bulkier now because I've increased muscle mass everywhere.
Word to the wise - one has to pull back on strength training during triathlons. It doesn't have to be eradicated altogether. In fact, it's important to keep some of it in. But, it becomes more supplemental to endurance training than primary if that makes sense?
So, of course there was some loss in muscle mass in the upper body after the half iron man. Which is why, I look thinner in that pic even though I weigh less now than I did then.
Anyhow, here's a more true to life recent pic. And, I'm pretty sure the first thought wouldn't be "she's to thin". My guess is it would be, "oh, look there goes one of those gym rats!" LOL
Just goes to show image does not tell the whole story. And, yes I LOVE LOVE LOVE my muscular look. So, no complaints here :-) Have a beautiful blessed day, everyone.
