So I think it's pretty clear that cutting out breads and processed wheat foods is essential for my weight loss. I'm going to have to rethink my pantry.

For Lent, I have committed to 40 Bags in 40 Days. The blogger of whitehouseblackshutters dot com came up with the idea several years ago. You pick 40 areas in your house/life that need to be decluttered, and you commit to decluttering/cleaning/fixing up one area per day. For me, Day 1 was boxing up returns from online shopping (I have a problem...womp, womp) and Day 2 was cleaning out my car. Today will be cleaning out my fiance's SUV, but we're saving the trunk for Saturday--he's been lugging a dresser around for weeks! I feel like letting go of all the crap surrounding me will just make me feel so much better! Plus, the added bonus of CLEANING everything will certainly make me and my family much healthier!
BTW, in case you were thinking to yourself, "I don't have FORTY areas to clean! She must have a ginormous house or something!" NO. FYI, my closet will take up 3 days, and my garage will be the last 5. Imma be thorough!!! :)

So I don't have a food scale. I probably should get one, but I just don't want to spend the money yet. Anywho... I like to bake large batches of chicken at a time. These are the large boneless, skinless breasts in the supermarket. Frankly, I had no idea how to record them in my food log, so I looked it up. Apparently, a good guesstimate for chicken in ounces (oz) is 3 oz is about the size of a checkbook (if flattened) and about the size of a deck of cards. So these pieces are generally the size of 2 or 3 decks of cards. That makes it easier.
Anyone care to fact-check this?

Not too terrible of a gain. I've been working out harder at the gym, so I'm hoping I'm still losing fat mass and just gaining muscle. I really need to buy calipers... :)
I haven't been 100% on my diet plan. I've stayed within my calorie intake range, but I haven't stayed under. Generally, I've gone only a little bit over, but that's usually due to eating a "treat." I need to stop doing that. Even if I DO have the calories left in the day, it's better to grab raw food or a healthy food choice like baked chicken (lean protein) than it is to have sorbet. I need to focus on my goals.
