--warning- my journal entry here discusses bathroom trips and other side affects I've had from medication--
Mounjaro 5mg week 2 (6th week overall)
Trying something different today with the mounjaro & food. It has given me horrible stomach issues for 2-3 days after each injection on Wednesdays that lead(led) to severe painful cramping, nausea & frequent toilet trips.
Today I decided to fast save for the Equate Chocolate Whey powder I drink w/ water instead of milk (which messes w/ me). I took my shot at noon and it's 5pm now and other than a little squiffy lower stomach trembling earlier I seem to be okay. I also am not having a Diet Coke today or tomorrow to try to ensure I do not get painful hard stomach from gas and cramping.
I don't know how much the mounjaro is helping me not be hungry? I can say that not even overeating just eating 3 meals a day has previously made me ill on it- with horrible heart burn and feeling of chunks in my throat- I felt that a tiny bit today, but I didn't eat at all.
