Wife and mom of 2. Have always struggled with weight, not that I've always been overweight but even when I was not I THOUGHT I was, then after my son I went from my 140lb average up to 180, that's when I had my first experience with Atkins. I did it for 5 months and lost almost 50lbs on it! It was amazing I felt great about myself, so great in fact that I refused to leave induction, got bored, cheated, then quit altogether. That was 4 years ago, since then I've had my second child a year and a half ago, and my weight has slowly crept up to 254 =( I've decided it's time to re-commit myself to the Atkins way of eating, on my 5th day and so far so good, feel better. Disappointed it's going slower this time than last, but that's to be expected. I look forward to all the good things Atkins can do for me if I stay determined. My first goal is 30lbs, I'm really hoping by the end of July (my wedding anniversary).
