Ok, so I ate pizza last night. I think I am paying for it today because my stomach is very upset. I did not overdo it. I have been sticking to South Beach and I don't think that I am adding back the good carbs properly. I seem to still avoid them like I did on phase 1. I know I have to move on but I worry that I will start gaining weight. I have not eaten any sugar -- hooray!

I have not written in my food journal for 2 days. Thurs. I was at a get together with friends and ate some bread (a no-no on phase 1 of south beach) I did not over do it. The best thing is that I came home and did not resort to my old attitude that since I ate something I shouldn't that I can eat everything in sight. I just continued eating what I normally do. I feel good that I just kept on going and the scale rewarded me by not going up!!!

Fitting into some of my old clothes that I wore 2 years ago. I know I will be facing my biggest challenge -- keeping it off. I am a yo-yo dieter. For now, I am excited about how I look and feel.

South Beach seems to be working better for me. I am not snacking on the "sugary" carbs. Maybe the secret is to switch diets every two weeks so I won't get bored. Two weeks on phase 1 then start phase 2 will be like a new diet so I am going to keep on plugging with South Beach. Oh course, I still do watch ww points to see how they correlate. Old habits die hard. I think I will always have ww in back of my mind.
