Weight up one pound this morning after two days with no BM. Don’t know what’s up with that. I HAD been going every day, like clockwork, for about a month. Took MiraLAX night before last and again yesterday afternoon. Still nothing.
BUT, the fact that I’ve ONLY gained a pound (and have definitely consumed more than that in 2 days) probably shows that I’ve actually LOST weight. Time will tell.
Grandson left yesterday morning for 9 days in Nevada with his dad. I was SO motivated that I did a ton of housework, knowing that it wouldn’t be messed up as soon as it was cleaned. Looking forward to seeing how much I can get done by July 7th.
Calorie count for each day this week has been very good! Looking forward to seeing what my Average Daily Calorie Intake will be after I finish today (Sunday).
I had a fall yesterday. Thank the Lord that my back only hurts a little this morning. When I first fell, I had some pain in my surgical toe, but that’s gone today, PTL! It did cause me to not get in my 2 miles of walking, because I didn’t know if I had injured it. I HAD walked 2 miles for the first time day before yesterday. The doctor said to not start walking until after I see him on 7/10. That's too long for me to wait. After having total knee replacement, I was walking at least a mile, with a walker, after the first week.

Weight for the week now down from 200 to 192.4, and that’s without even having a BM yesterday. Calories yesterday were in the low 1,600’s. My grandson is leaving 2m0 morning for a blissful (for me!) 9 days in Nevada! He did amazingly well with getting 5 fillings yesterday, 3 of which needed to be crowned. He was under general anesthesia and was calm beforehand, asleep during, and pain-free afterward, PTL!!! My toe is coming along nicely. Still not pushing the walking, but will start that on Monday, shooting to start with 2-3 miles a day, in 1/2-hour increments. It’s a start. Stopped counting how many bottles of water I’m drinking, but it is A LOT, like at least a gallon. (Some of the meds I take make me very thirsty!)

Struggled a bit tonight. My calories for the day were under 1.400 until a stressful situation at 10pm. I ended up eating 8 more cherries, a King’s Hawaiian roll with butter and a Thomas’ English Muffin with butter, peanut butter and jelly. Total now (11:22pm) is right around 2,000 calories. My “average daily calories” for this week is still around 1,500/day; but I was doing so well, and I’m not happy with myself for the lapse in judgment. Oh well, not going to allow myself to have the “all or nothing” mentality that makes me derail after lack of perfection. Thanks for listening. I’m going to try to go back to sleep now.
