Hello All! (PERSONAL DRAMA and part of my journey, feel free to skip if desired.)

Happy Monday to you! I totally overate over the weekend starting Friday evening. I was craving pizza and that's all I need to say about that.

I did have some victories last week: 3 hours 25 minutes of walking, two vegetarian meals per day began mid-week and I've been able to continue that, and my clothes are a bit easier to put on. YAY for non-scale victories!

I am an emotional eater and food goes with absolutely everything, so I need a new coping mechanism. It isn't that I haven't had those off and on throughout the years. I need something that I can accomplish with a 5-year-old who has aggressive episodes with his diagnoses. I don't want to eat when I'm upset and being an empath, emotions run large and frequent.

I'm weighing in once a week on Tuesdays. I have tried variations with weighing: daily, once a month, every 2 weeks, and weekly seems to work best. I don't get obsessed with it and I don't forget.

I've gained and lost the same 20 pounds for years. I made it to Onederland once in the last five years but it did not last of course. It has been difficult to consider lifestyle changes and not become overwhelmed.

My current goal is to show up for myself, exercise five days a week, more if possible, eat healthier, and continue to make an effort. Outside of that, I don't know what else to do.
