Starting again after a year of eating crap. Mom died and I went into an emotional eating roller coaster. Coming to grips with gaining back some of the weight I initially lost. Blood sugar was out of control with a "coming to Jesus" moment when I took my BS after 1 year of not taking it. It was 402. Not sure how I was even standing up! My eyesight was getting really bad too.
Starting keto on Jan 3rd, 2023 - again. 3rd times a charm right?
BS is down to 235 fasting, during the day it drops to 160s. Went hard core keto Jan. 3rd and cut out everything but meat, cheese, eggs, salad, green beans and broccoli. Cooking with butter, olive oil, salt, pepper. The occasional avocado and strawberry.
Dang it all. It's so hard to go backward and have to start over.
