The raccoon ducked just before I took the picture. Oh well. Beach today was very nice. Sunshine and 59 degrees out. Water was about the same temp! Exhausted now and curled up in bed. Good night folks.

Brought the herd into the corral and squeeze to give some meds. One decided to be grumpy. This was a beautiful shade of blue the other day, and half the size.

Merry New Year!
Made it to the gym today. A very good cardio workout. I was surprised at how quickly my legs shut down afterwards. Lifting the hay bales was a struggle! Oh well, you keep pushing onwards.
Eating has improved. Still not back to my “normal” routine yet. Going off to go “glamping” tomorrow. Taking our camper trailer. Fortunately we will not be far from the beach, so a day in the waves is planned. That is my favorite cardio workout!

Happy New Year my friends. After a week of getting back on track the numbers are steady. It is helping to focus once again on losing body fat and having data to monitor my progress (or lack thereof).
So at the end of a year we typically look back and see if we have grown and how we have changed. Here is one thing about me.
The speedometer isn’t the first thing I check when driving and glancing at the dash. I check my fuel efficiency reading. MPG before MPH.
Goal for 2024, get the eating habits improved. Cut out fast foods, limit sweets. I can reduce many things and still enjoy them, and eliminate others altogether. Good luck with 2024 everyone!

Made it to the gym three times this week. An improvement over the trend the last two months but well below what I normally do. Eating still not good, too many holiday meals, birthday meals, and rushed meals. Fortunately my daughter has taken up cooking with garlic. Much better for me than all the baked cookies and cakes she has done the last two years!
Smart scale arrived and I love it. I go with my average weight over a week and my goal is to lose body fat. With the scale I can once again track that goal. Perhaps that will help me stay focused.
