I gained 1 pound - most likely as a result of my giving into a few temptations over the weekend, and not exercising the last few day. I ate good yesterday and bought a heart monitor and Hoodia. I plan to exercise now, with my heart rate in the fat burning target zone, and the Hoodia seems to have suppressed my appetite. For those of you who haven't heard of Hoodia (I hadn't until a few days ago), it is an appetite suppressant. The warning label cautions you to remember to eat every day... Has anyone else tried Hoodia?

Difficult weekend for me. I gave into 2 out of 3 temptations. Each time I wasn't hungry, but could not resist the sights and aromas of the foods that were available as others were eating around me. This wasn't a problem for me the first couple weeks of the diet, but it sure was this past weekend! It may be that time of the month, or now that I have lost a few pounds, I may be trying to rationalize "how much can it really hurt?" Yikes! I'm scared. I don't want to fall off and not be able to get back on...I know today is a new day. Hopefully I will find a new dose of willpower and motivation!

Down 1.5 my first week of Phase 2, though the scale hasn't moved the last 4 days. (Yes, I am one of those who weighs herself everyday.) Hopefully when it finally does move it will be down again! I didn't exercise much in Phase I (2 out of the 9 days). But this week I exercised on 4 of the last 5 days and on two of those days I exercised twice - once in the morning, and once in the evening. Before starting Fat Smash, I gained 20 pounds in 7 months (when I decided to get divorced), and was already about 50 pounds overweight before gaining the extra 20. I hate that it's so easy to gain, and so hard to lose! I really want to take off these extra pounds, and get control of my weight! I hope I can stay motivated and not give up. Thanks for all of your support!
