Well I was proud that today I hit my 10# weight loss mark (overall) since I joined FS. This has been a huge motivator for me and I really appreciate all the support from you all!!!!! I am very determined to be successful this time around! Good luck to all of you!!!!!

Just have to share my little success story! I signed up to bake for our historical society meeting tonight. I baked 3 dozen peanut butter cookies and a pan of brownies. I didn't even lick the spoon before sticking the brownie bowl in the sink to rinse! I filled it with water asap! I didn't taste the cookie dough, nor eat any of the bakery once it was done. I packed it up and got it out of the house! This may sound like a silly thing to celebrate, but if you only knew how hard this was for me, you'd understand! Especially the smell of chocolate...luscious, dark chocolate that beckoned to me. But no, I resisted its evil calories disguised in tempting sweetness. This is week four of NO chocolate...and I am not going back to that addiction:)

Well I was doing fine until the holiday weekend. I made bad food choices. But thank you to all of you for supporting me with your awesome tips! On a positive note, I exercised three times on the treadmill and on Sunday I got my husband to drive with me to a park where we walked the paths for 4 miles! It took a long time and I was nearly dying in addition to needing to urgently find a restroom, but in the end I was very proud of doing it! Also glad to have my hubby's support, as he is usually not much help in these matters! I did not lose any weight this week but I know I would have gained if I had not exercised! Looking forward to seeing less of me next week! Good luck to you all!

NOT happy with myself this weekend. I let the stress get to me. I ate the cheesy potatoes and had ice cream with cake. Why do I have NO willpower when I am with other people? I am fine when it's just me eating. I really seem to tune out my inner voice whenever I am in food situations with a group. That will be my focus for the next week. I will forgive myself because it was a holiday, but I really need to work on this :(

This was a tough week for me as far as exercise goes. I have the food part pretty well under control. I have not been craving the sugar or chocolate -- Yayyyyy! I really need to focus on making time for exercise. Mornings are not really an option, so after work or after dinner are pretty much all I have. I wish the weather would warm up so I could get outside. The sunshine always motivates me. Maybe another week or so and the sun will start to shine! Thank you all for your support and ideas during this week! It's good to know that you are all there for me! I hope I am able to support you all in the same way! Together we will all finish week 12 a little "lighter" :)
