My ex-husband died in September and I decided I was not going to make my kids lose another parent due to poor lifestyle choices. Since then I've lost 18 pounds by increasing my intake of vegetables, both raw and cooked, eating more fruits, drinking more water, and reducing refined carbohydrates. I was also doing yoga twicw a week and trying to get a few miles in on the treadmill at the gym. Then In December my sweetheart had a cardiac arrest and life turned upside down. Now we're working together to help him make the lifestyle choices to increase his health and fitness level.
