losing 2.6 lb a week

I had a spiritual experience/awakening a week ago. Afterwards, I was a different person. I lost my mental stress, have inner peace, appreciate the beauty and wonders of life, feel acceptance for all, trust the natural flow of life and don't need or want to control things, have less need to eat (don't like being stuffed; satisfied on less food; prefer less food), and have lost 6 lbs, 1% body fat, and 6 inches. Just the mental stress being gone and feeling peaceful is great alone. Not trying to lose weight; just listening to my body and following the flow of life. We are each unique. May you find peace on your journey as well.

losing 0.1 lb a week

My body is funny. The last weigh-in, it took me 12 days to go down 1 lb. This weigh-in, I went down 1.4 lbs in 2 days. Sometimes when I'm working out hard and not even eating more, I gain weight. And when I'm not perfect, I lose weight. And sometimes it appears that I'm maintaining, and then in a few days I'm down 3+ lbs. And during TOM, which I get every 3 weeks instead of 4 (ARG!), I gain 1+ lbs. I really dislike this unpredictability!
But I HAD to share today's weight. I've been excited in anticipation if I will get into the 140s, and this morning I woke up feeling like I was there. So I weighed in, and BAM...I'm there! :D Body fat % on the scale says 26.5%. I think it's actually lower than that, but that's fine...machinery is flawed, especially the body fat reading on an inexpensive scale (I like to see the downward trend and I'm not concerned about the number itself, but it would be nice to get an accurate number someday). I look at my race pics and it looks like I have very little fat on me...I see only a little excess skin over muscle...except in my belly, which is a LOT of excess skin, lol.
Happy today. I struggled so hard over a year ago with reaching my goal weight (160 lbs). Came within 3-4 lbs of it and couldn't get any lower. I actually maintained for a year and figured that was it...that was as far as my body would let me go. Now I'm 15 lbs lower than that and dropping. I'm happy I found what allows me to be the healthiest me :)
Have a great day, peeps :D Keep trucking!

Took me a whole 12 days to lose 1 lb! I thank my not-as-great-as-usual eating the last two weekends and TOM for that, lol :/
But very happy that I'm ALMOST in the 140s! That's friggin awesome for me!
Frustrated by my clothes not fitting me, so I did some clothes shopping yesterday. EVERYTHING is on sale everywhere, so if you need summer stuff, now is the time to get it!
Frustrating though that I don't really have the money for new clothes, and that it's hard to shop with this huge amount of hanging belly skin I have :( Can't wait til it's removed.
Been enjoying my workouts and being active. I ride my bike or walk if at all possible when I have to go somewhere. Wish I could quit my job and be active full-time! :)
Have a great week!
