fighting back
For the past couple of weeks, I went off diet. Why! Temptation. Why? Because when you tell people you are trying to watch what you eat and trying to lose a few pounds, it's not until then, they decide that they want to buy you something. Most of the time, the something is food. The more you say no, the more they push until you break. I learned something very important, and that is, no matter how hard your friends and family push you to eat when you have said not, you got to push back and stick to your guns. So I am back doing what I do, that is trying to kick up getting off a few pounds. Do I feel sad, maybe a little because I was doing ok, but I have recovered from my fall and here I am again back at it. HOORAH!

Breaking a habit or creating a new one?
I am basically doing the exact same thing you are doing. I am continuing to eat the things I love, just in moderation, so I will not feel like or have my body feel like it is missing out on anything. However, there is a lot of things I have given up on, I just replaced them with other things for more healthy reason. Which I am looking up now on the internet as well to make sure they are healthy for me. I am one of those people who was able to loose weight any time I wanted, then I developed thyroid disorder, which stopped me in my tracks. I kept trying and kept trying and I would hit 180, then nothing. I gave up! However, I discovered that I am border line diabetic and my friend was full blown. She lost her foot and it was the shock that told me to get myself together. So there is no more sugar for me, no more cake, no more cookies, bought or cooked and no more soda. I am eating more salads, veggies, and fruit and I like it. I am loosing slowly, but I am filling my belly up with water also. I am hopeful this time and I want to loose forty five pounds so bad I can taste it, so don't give up I am not. One pound a week, is better than no pounds at all. Every pound counts, keep up the good work.

Plateau?
in loosing weight and changing your diet, remember that first your body try's to old on to as much as possible. When it realize your not giving up, it's then it began to let go of the unwanted weight. Your weight also goes up, before it goes down. Hang in there......you will succeed.
