Discouraged but moving forward. Prior to weighing in this week, I'd exercise 10 of 11 days and stayed within or pretty close to my calorie allotment. Tracked every bite during that time, and my net weight loss is exactly 0. I've gained back the 0.6 I had lost last week!
In rebellion, I did not record my weight in hopes that it would be better the next day (nope), and I did not exercise that night. BUT, I did get out and exercise last night, and I continue to track my food.
Pressing forward.

Gained weight even though I exercised daily, logged daily, drank my water, made good food choices (mostly)! Oh well, today's a new day.

Week two of my challenges and doing well.
Walked 2 miles with Leslie Sansome today.
Did kickboxing yesterday.
Staying within my calories.
I'm nervous/afraid to weigh myself though because historically I lose weight very slowly; typically 1/2 pound or less per week. Because I've done so well with both exercise and food, it will be really disappointing if I dont lose at least one pound. I'll weigh on Thursday. Hopeful until then...

Made good choices (so far) today.
Was meeting my sister for lunch today. I had picked Chili's because I know they have diet-friendly meals...and there is one close to my office.
I looked at the menu ahead of time and decided on what I was going to order. Narrowed it down to 2 choices, both under 500 calories, and made my decision at the restaurant between the two. their grilled chicken salad is yummy. It's a huge green salad with corn, black beans, and a lime vinaigrette, topped with a grilled chicken breast. All for 430 calories. Very satisfying, and I'm feeling good about the decision.
