My Last 30 Pounds
Congrats on what you have done so far! I like goals like X weight by a certain holiday, because I can visualize myself enjoying the event at the more comfortable weight and how great it would feel. It is a real motivator for me. I have a mid-range goal in mind for my b-day in Sep, and another for Halloween.

Potato Diet
Not having researched it, I assume this is like every other one-food diet. By limiting foods to a narrow choice, you naturally eat less. I am sure it is fine in the short term, but I wouldn't want to do it long term. Anything that can't be maintained, is something I would eventually quit. That is why I am counting calories this time and not even doing low-carb. I feel so much more freedom as I lose weight with no food off limits. I feel like I am in it for the long-game this time. But, do what works for you.

Cheat day
Another tip that has worked for me in the past - a cheat "window" instead of a day. Pick a two hour window, in the evening, one day a week to not count calories. For me, it is usually Sunday night. I get to do something fun on the weekend, indulge without guilt, weighing, and measuring, and it is easier to get back on the horse on a Monday than it would be on another weekend day. As you are limited to a window, you are going to have way less excess calories than you would in an entire day of cheating. I also pre-plan what I will eat - a crazy meal and dessert, so I don't binge. For me, it is mentally resting to have a time without thinking about my diet.

Android app no longer available?
Your right. I thought it had worked, but when I reset and had to reinstall, I had the same problem. My guess is that the app is not registered to run on a Droid X running Froyo. They need to update their market settings. Does someone have the file they could email us to install manually? Fat Secret - please update your market settings.

Android app no longer available?
Had same problem. Had in install it through app brain:
http://www.appbrain.com/app/com.fatsecret.android
You set up an account there, find it on the website and click install. Then install the appbrain app on your Droid x and synch.
