As predicted, the trigmenial neuralgia is taking a toll but is beginning to discipline me in how much I eat, as it is made worse by chewing. But it might've just been the thing that stopped diabetes and heart disease in it's tracks. Yes being vegan can still be unhealthy (aka Oreos are vegan) so I was at a 6.5 a1c and now it's down to 5.6 . Hopefully now that I'm on meds I can still implement a healthy way of living with minimal sugar and junk carbs. I was thinking about going SOS free,( salt oil and sugar), I'm already oil free but damn that sugar has got a hold on me lol. Eating 1-2 fruits a day is hard when it's really all I crave ( acceptable sugars anyways :( ) well check back in next week after drs appt. have a good day everybody!

Went to the doctor today and wasn't surprised to see this as I haven't been eating due to what we thought was an allergy. Yep finally got a diagnosis it's a rare condition called trigmenial neuralgia, it's made even more rare for me as it attacks both sides of the face. In essence it's the most painful condition a person can have and for me it feels like crushing pressure on the roof of my mouth that resembles anaphylaxis. It sucks but at least now I'm on meds so I can eat again. Still a little afraid to eat because in my mind the pain and eating are associated. When I eat the muscles that are used trigger the nerves and I feel like I'm dying for 8-10 hours. Oh well weight will be falling off now just got to try and eat lots of calories in one sitting.
