Scale woes, I mean wars. Every scale I have ever owned has been interesting to work with. My current scale works like this. I step on it, and it records the same weight that I last showed. Even if I step on it at the end of the day, I will see the same weight. I have a 7 1/2 pound weight nearby. I step on the scale again with my weight in hand. The weight added will change the numbers on the scale. Then when I step on the scale without the wait I see a new number. I keep track of that number. At the end of the week I look at all the various numbers for the week and then just take an average. Sometimes I just noticed that at the end of the week I am completely different overall from the starting weight. There are so many factors that affect the numbers shown on the scale. I only step on the scale to keep me mindful of the process. Otherwise, I said focus more of my attention on how I feel, how I look, how my clothes fit, how my skin seems looser, etc.lately I have been very mindful of the fact that my runs are covering the same distance in a shorter amount of time. I know that is due to a weight loss.
