Happy Sat. FS Peeps! I know I'm not the only one who has 'that' pound, 'that' milestone. Mine is 147. The second I hit it, my weight goes back up, stalls for a few days, then hangs out for bit, up, down but not back down to that same point...for a while. That's where I'm at right now, fighting to get back to 147. Last night, I had a cheat night. Not horribke, a couple glasses of wine and a half blt wrap. Go figure, I'm down a half lb nearly from yesterday. Now, I did add more fiber the last couple of days, so there's that. I feel like my body and mind are trying to play little tricks in a silly game of tug-o-war.
Apart from a small Fri. cheat, sticking with my CICO still. I hope if you have a small cheat you can do the same. (Not like my husband, he is an 'all or nothing' guy)!

Still dealing with my weight stall I realized I'm not getting enough fiber. Having had a recent issue with diverticulitis, it's taken me a while to ramp up to my yummy fibrous foods again. So I increased my fiber yesterday. Today I'm up a pound, BUT I attribute that to my diet change. I think once the fiber kicks in, all will even out again. (Got to take the good with the bad at times, right)? I also believe I'll start dropping again as long as I stick to my CICO and high fiber options.

It's official, I'm in a weight stall.
I went down a little, then back up a little and have maintained the same weight for 3 days. I'm employing the 'Eye of the hurricane' theory. With me, I know a stall comes before a drop (the eye if-you-will). So, I will continue to shelter in place, doing exactly what I'm doing and wait for it to pass.
Happy Ash Wednesday to my Christian friends and Happy Valentine's to all. If you find yourself down or without a Valentine, call an old friend, make someone or a shelter pets day brighter!

Don't know about you, but I get sick of lettuce. Chicken curry salad is a go to for me. Chicken breast, granny smith (sometimes craisins or grapes), celery, mayo and curry seasoning. 1/2 celery and 1/2 granny smith in the bowl, the other for garnish.
Makes me happy, what can I say?!
