Not lost anything, well upset. However I am not going to make excuses (even though I have some) will just try harder. I need to avoid social situations that involve food and drink. Every where we go its to Greek friends and family and I feel like a foie grax duck on too many occasions.
Good news is did my 60 year health check mot at the docs, answered all questions honestly and took blood pressure it was 132 and it has always been high usually 140 for years. Also when she took my weight it was 13 pounds lighter than last time I was at the docs, so well pleased with that. Results came back as low risk to everything.
Right starting now I am saying no to everything, and I will loose weight on next weigh in.

Only dropped one pound, however had a bit of a blip last weekend. Felt ashamed of myself really because of the blip, and it was a feeling with my new regime that I did not want to experience. My mind set is that I am not on a diet and therefore should not have feelings of guilt as I have had on previous attempts at dietary weight loss.
So right I am not going to bleat but get right back on track and ensure that I have better results on next weigh in.
I am not on a diet, I am not on a diet, I am not on a diet, I am not on a diet, etc.
Cheers Ashley

Hello fellow weight losers, only dropped 3 lbs since last weigh in but it means I have dipped under the 15st mark for the first time in years. My next target is to get to 205lbs that will mean I will have lost a full stone from my heaviest weight.
I am still not on a diet and never will be cos it does not suit and believe me I have tried all sorts before and have always gone back to bad old ways very quickly. We (me and my Greek Mrs) are now hardcore sugar fat and salt avoiders and have changed our diet round to include fish twice a week and our focus is on more vegetables and less meat.
It seems to be working and we have also noticed our food bill has gone down by 30% and my energy levels I am sure I am not imagining it have increased. I have not told anybody I am trying to loose weight and long for the first day that someone notices the difference.
Also I was an addict of indigestion tablets by neccesity, it's now months since I have needed a tablet to fight of indigestion !!!

losing 1.5 lb a week

Hi all, doing quite well dropped 4lb since last weigh in. This is 15st and 1lb, this is somehow giving me some will power (never had it before!!!) to get below 15st. Telling myself I am not on a diet just eating healthier, trying to cut out fat, salt and sugar. Main drive on sugar, and I am not missing it. Still have a drink on Saturday night only usually about 300ml. I know someone had a go about dieting and alcohol on my timeline but I am determined not to diet this is a new way of life for me and my Mrs. Anyway what the hell I am no monk and need to live a little not wear sack cloth and ashes. Good luck to all who are grappling with weight loss, just hang in there. Cheers Ash
