Oh dear! An unexpected gain! Not been able to walk this week; a combination of a painful hip and being really busy getting the house up to scratch for the brochure photos and bedroom sorted for granddaughter's visit. Not sleeping well either with barking dogs nearby and the heat!
Right, moan over, determined to sort myself out this week. On the plus side loving having our 16 year old granddaughter staying with us, love her so much and spending time with her! Have a great weekend everyone!

Delighted with my loss. Life has been crazy lately, we are in the process of putting our house on the market so have been cleaning it to within an inch of its life! Drove to Liverpool to pick up one of our granddaughters from halls and filled the car with her stuff resulting in four washloads washed and dried to be stored here with the rest of her stuff until September. Got her on the ferry to Dublin early this morning, came home to find fake tan all over the bedding she slept in! It's been like a laundry this last twenty four hours! On Tuesday her 16 year old sister arrives for two weeks holiday with us, I will definitely need a holiday after that!

A great NSV for my husband today! He got called in to the Surgery today to see the doctor and was a bit worried. It turns out that his three monthly A1c blood test is only four points away from being no longer a Type 2 diabetec! Blood pressure also lowered and GP actually is happy with low carb regime. He is having some meds lowered and could be off them by his next review! So delighted that our way of eating is curing him!

A gain which was to be expected after three days at our son's in Cheshire! The food was mostly on plan but the copious amounts of white wine wasn't! So enjoyed spending time with two of our granddaughters aged 14 and 11, we played lots of board games together as a family, something all our children loved doing. Feeling better although my arthritis is still bothering me but keeping going!

Despite resorting to pain relief and no walking since Saturday I have had a loss! Feeling a bit better today and looking forward to Sunday when we visit our son and his family in Cheshire! Can't wait to see them all, especially the granddaughters!
